This guy is a fighting machine.
How is he able to defeat so many opponents? First, from what I read, he may have been a former professional boxer, so he's had lots of practice fighting.
When you watch the video you can understand how important balance is in a fight. Look at how solid the boxer's stance is. While his opponents are running and flailing all over the place, he keeps his boxers pose and always maintains his balance, even when punching. This allows him to land accurate, well timed punches, while his opponents are throwing wild inaccurate bombs. It all starts with your stance.
Another thing, near the end of the fight, you see that he's just throwing jabs, and he's knocking people down. A jab is a punch you throw with your weak hand, so if you are right handed you throw it with your left. When you are in a boxer's stance, you put your left foot forward, and your left hand is closest to your opponent. The jab is a fast, flick of a punch. You don't get your body behind it, so there isn't a lot of power, but it is effective because it's fast so hard to defend against, and it gets your opponent off balance and maybe even gives them a bloody, nose, fat lip, or black eye.
In the video you can see the effectiveness of the jab. Normally in street fights people throw big right hands, or "haymakers". In this video you see the effectiveness of the jab in laying down opponents.
Finally, notice how he is always moving back out of danger. He's probably doing this because he is fighting so many people, so he is willing to give up some ground to keep himself from being overwhelmed. But he doesn't run, he gives up inches, and does so methodically and strategically.
Great commentary.
